Tata Sky launches Dhamaka Offer for new customers availing DTH connection (2)

Direct-to-Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky earlier today introduced a new Dhamaka Offer for new customers. The Dhamaka Offer is only for eligible customers who avail of Tata Sky DTH connection and recharge their Tata Sky account with a minimum amount of Rs 4000 at one instance. The newly launched Dhamaka Offer is available from 18th August 2021 at 00:00 hours and shall expire on 17th November 2021 at 23:59 hours.

The offer can be availed by booking a new Tata Sky connection through an Authorized dealer of Tata Sky Limited. The eligible subscribers will receive an HD Zapper set-top box along with ODU (Outdoor Unit) at no additional cost and amount of Rs 4000 credited to the account of the subscriber at the time of activation. The recharge of Rs 4000 amount in the Tata Sky account however has to happen in one recharge transaction.

The offer is only applicable on ODU connections (connections inclusive of Outdoor Unit, comprising of Antenna and LNB) of HD Zapper Box, individuals opting for a single box, and customers opting for monthly subscription packs only. The offer is not applicable on non-ODU connections (connections exclusive of Outdoor Unit, comprising of Antenna and LNB), customers opting for multiple boxes at the time of acquisition, customers who want to avail of long duration packs, and on HD 4K, HD PVR or Binge+ Android box.

Tata Sky will only offer HD Zapper Box under this Dhamaka Offer and not any other type of STB/connection. The eligible subscribers are free to choose any monthly subscription plan as per his/her choice with the balance being consumed towards such chosen packs/channels on a DBR basis from the Account Balance of the subscriber. The monthly subscription plan may include Tata Sky Packs or Broadcaster Packs or a-la-carte channels.

In order to avail the service of Tata Sky, Eligible Subscriber’s Account shall be inactive state i.e. holding a Minimum Account Balance. If an Eligible Subscriber wishes to cancel the connection within 6 months of activating this offer, then the HD Zapper box price of Rs.1799 will be deducted from the Subscriber’s Account Balance. HD Zapper Box upgrade will not be allowed for 90 days after account activation under this offer. Recharge Reversal policy: Eligible Subscriber is not allowed to ask for reversal of account balance (claiming the wrong recharge) if activated under this offer. In case the Eligible Subscriber goes into a de-active state due to non-payment of dues, the Service will stop working. Tata Sky reserves the right to decide the eligibility of the Subscribers to whom this Offer would be offered. Once an Eligible Subscriber confirms that they are interested in subscribing to the Service, a WO will be raised, and a representative of Tata Sky will confirm with the Eligible Subscriber their preferred time of visit for installation,” read the terms and conditions of the offer on Tata Sky’s dedicated microsite for Dhamaka Offer.

We are not aware of any new offers on HD+, Binge+ is the priority of Tata Sky now.
